Hours: Monday- Thursday 4PM to 10PM, now through December.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cleaning and sanitizing food processing equipment, workstations, and production areas using approved methods and schedules.
- Following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures(SSOP’S) and regulatory requirements (e.g., OSHA, SQF, FDA) to ensure compliance.
- Handling and preparing sanitizers and cleaning chemicals, reading labels/MSDS, and storing them safely.
- Documenting sanitation activities in logs or work sheets, including chemical usage and cleaning checklists.
- Removing debris, garbage, and waste from production areas and maintaining a clean, hygienic workspace.
- Reporting sanitation issues or violations to supervisor or Manager and taking corrective actions.
- Collaborating with other departments to maintain quality control and efficient workflow.
- Operating sanitation equipment such as Pressure washers, Foam Cannons, hose and sprayers.
- Adhering to all safety protocols when handling chemicals.

Physical Requirements:
- Standing for extended periods of time.
- Frequent bending, Twisting, kneeling.
- Frequent work with arms above head.
- Frequent lifting of 50 pounds or less.
- Frequent squeezing with the hands when using pressure washer or hose and sprayer.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: Prior sanitation or food safety experience in a manufacturing or food service setting is preferred.
- Skills:
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation procedures.
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
- Physical stamina for manual labor.
- Ability to work in varied conditions (cold, high humidity, etc.).
